Every edition of CHECKSIX represents months of research, planning and exclusive access. Since the publication of our first issue in 2023, our journey has taken us to air bases, exercises and operational units across Europe, documenting the people, aircraft and missions that define modern military aviation.

THE BEGINNING
Throughout its first year, CHECKSIX documented military aviation across Europe, covering display teams, operational units, historical aviation and international exercises. The editorial concept of combining extensive feature stories with premium photography was established from the very first edition.

EXPANDING HORIZONS
Building on the strong foundation of its inaugural year, CHECKSIX continued to expand both editorially and geographically throughout 2024. New international contributors, exclusive reports from military air bases, major multinational exercises and historic aviation events further shaped the journal’s identity. With every issue, CHECKSIX strengthened its reputation for combining in-depth reporting with premium aviation photography.

By 2025, CHECKSIX had evolved into a well-established international military aviation journal.
