Taylor Peake / UK & France
I was born in March 2004 in London, but my earliest memories are from the countryside of Southwest France, where my family moved when I was just two. Growing up in the Lot-et-Garonne, I was captivated by the regular low flypasts of Rafales, Mirage 2000s, and Alphajets carving the skies; moments that sparked a lifelong passion for military aviation.
Despite this early fascination, I only began photographing aircraft in mid-2022, after receiving an FZ-82 bridge camera as a high school graduation gift. Since then, I’ve steadily honed my gear, techniques, and eye for composition, always striving to capture the sharpest, most compelling images of the aircraft that inspire me.
My work has been featured in Amateur Photographer Magazine, where I shared my experience with the Canon 80D, and in Combat Aircraft Journal, where my photograph of an F-35 crossing the sun at RAF Lakenheath earned a two-page spread in May 2024.
Inspired by my dad, a former FHM journalist who travelled the world interviewing music legends, I aim to infuse narrative and character into every shot I take!
